A full baseball glove relace involves completely removing all existing lace from the glove and replacing it with new, high-quality leather lace. This includes the web, fingers, palm, heel, and wrist areas — not just a single broken section.

Over time, glove lace dries out, stretches, and weakens. Even if it has not snapped yet, brittle lace can fail during normal play. A full relace restores structure, pocket integrity, and proper tension throughout the glove so it performs the way it was designed to.

Turnaround time depends on my current workload, but most relaces are be completed within 1-2 weeks. You will receive confirmation and estimated completion after submitting your request.

Can you relace a catcher’s mitt or first base mitt?
Yes, absolutely! Catchers and first baseman matter too. Catcher’s mitts, first base mitts, trapeze, and modified trapeze webs are all welcome, and I have plenty of experience with them. Feel free to check out the gallery for examples!

Do you offer mail-in glove repair?
Yes. Customers can ship their glove for service and receive tracking information upon return.

Is it worth relacing an older glove?
In most cases, yes. If the leather shell is in good condition, a full relace restores performance at a fraction of the cost of a new glove. I will be completely honest and transparent with you throughout the process. If I think your glove is beyond the point of restoration or my ability, I will make that known to you and possibly refer you to someone else that can perfrom the work needed. In most cases, the older gloves that I restore are full of memories and nostalgia that can never be replaced with the purchase of a new glove. Whether you plan to use it again, or just display it, I will get your glove back to looking like it did in the glory days!

What do you use to clean gloves?
I use a combination of saddle soap and products from The Craftsman’s Works for cleaning and conditioning.
